[request] mail app choice of sender alias address [duplicate]

Hello Sailors and dev Team,

it would be really nice to have the availability to choose an alias (mail address) out of several ones for the sender of the mail account in the official mail app.

If not possible to get other aliases directly with the used synchronisation interface.
Maybe give the possibility to add it in account option, or use the address that the sender has used to reach you (more smart).

I have several email accounts and when replying to a message it chooses always the right sender address. And if I tap the ellipsis (three dots) on the new message page I'll be able to choose a different sender address from another account apart from other options like add CC/BCC address, set importance level, add attachment etc. I'm on SFOS 3.0.1.11.

Yes, that option is there for a long time.

But what cemoi71 means is that you choose an alias out of several mail adresses for the same account.
And that has been requested,/asked at least in three other questions on this forum.
And I made a workaround (good enough for me) already...

yes correct didn't find it by my search. searched with "mail app alias" give no finding (other than mine now).
The search machine seems to be stupid sometimes..
