Hi Sailors, I want to ask one thing - I have bought Amazfit Bip smartwatch. Installed Amazfish, paired the watch. Everything working, but.............it disconnects randomly after maybe 15 minutes. When I am using phone actively, it keeps connection, but when I turn display off and I am at work (with phone kept in my pocket), it disconnects and doesn´t send notifications to my watch, but when I pick the phone from my pocket and turn on display, it will recconect after a while and notifications are working again. It occurs with powersave mode, even without it. I think that some "powersaving" option stops the Amazfish service to keep battery longer alive.

Definitely need help, watch are useless in this condition, I bought them to warn me when someone is calling, sending sms or mail which is not working well now :(

Is here anyone who already solved this?

I do have the Amazfit Bip using Amazfish on Xperia XA2+ but no issues with the connection. What firmware the watch is using and have you considered all which is mentioned at Amazfish-app at Openrepos incl. comments section? Piggz has helped me a few times when I had an issue but I wouldn't bombard him with questions... he made an amzing app for us. I hpe you don't have a hardware issue related to BLE.. might be possible but first rule out if it's firmware or settings-related issue.

I just found your other (earlier) post. You wrote that you updated the watch with Android app. I think this may have causes the issue. Please flash the watch with the firmware provided in the link at Amazfish-app at Openrepos! I think this will solve your issue.

I don´t remember I wrote anymwhere I updated FW. I just tried to connect to Redmi 5A to see FW version because through watch was not possible when there were only message "Connect through app" or something like that. Its the last one. Propably previous owner updated it to latest firmware. there is version 1.6.4.8 i think. Yes, Piggz made great app, but no any working guide how to use it. There is something about flashing FW - when I saw it, i was thinking "hmmmmm, why should I mess with firmware? There is nothing written about that Amazfish needs some other version then I have" so I let there the latest one. So, thank you for useful info. Can you tell me your Amazfit Bip firmware version I can flash it? And is downgrading safe for watch? Oh, and by the way - I didn´t bombard him with question, I asked and 3 days waited for response. Still nothing. And how to flash that firmware? is it via download file option in Amazfish? Or do I have some other Android phone with that Gadgetbridge to do this?

So, I got fw 0.1.1.4.5 files and checked checksums. It is okay. Now how to send to watch? Oh, so I found that it is possible via Amazfish, no necessary to use gadgetbridge. I have 1.1.4.5 now, so I´ll see if now dropping connection is solved.

So, I tested and watched it all day today. It is much better after reflashing firmware to 1.1.4.5 and using amazfish 1.5.1.1. But still not perfect. From time to time it still drops connection. Where do I find logs to check what is happening when disconnected?
