Hi community, does anybody have still spare parts available for Intex Aqua Fish?

I was caught today by a big rain storm and my phone was wet completely. So far it is wrking but both cameras are dead. I would like to substitute them hoping that not the mainboard has the issue.

Can anyone help out?

Update: Cams are working but button connector has no real contact anymore. Does anybody have one?

I have a part salvaging AF, however the main camera is missing from it because I had to replace 2 times in mine. The soldering of the camera connector was crappy in my phone. If you could rule out that you really need motherboard just let me know.

Sooo little update: the cams are working again, the contacts needed to be cleaned with alcohol thoroughly, now the only thing that is still an issue is the button connector, it seems like this cable is at the board connector broken.and unfortunately it is this kind of simple glued cable not a connector with a plug. Trying to solder it for better contact didn't work. I guess I have to splice each signal line and solder it separately but this most likely will break the cable since it is already too brittle.

@martonmiklos do you still have the button connector with the cable to connect it to the mainboard? this would be the part that is now still not working.

@PatsJolla: the whole phone is complete other than the main camera module. The image on the mainboard have not been JollaCified. If you would still use it I can send the whole phone to you.

Similar cameras are used in these phones: https://www.deviceranks.com/en/camera-sensor/no-shops/8/omnivision-ov8858

My best bet is to start cannibalizing Intex Aqua Power phones.

Another route is to order parts "strait from the source" aka China: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Factory-direct-sale-P8V12B-ov8858-sensor_62355566513.html?spm=a2700.galleryofferlist.0.0.539f17e8IpR9rI

DISCLAIMER: I have never tried any of it, I don't even own an original Jolla phone. Just hoping to be helpful.

@PatsJolla: maybe it is worthwhile finding someone in India: https://www.maxbhi.com/searchproducttype.html?model_id=437876&ptid=0

Wow cool didn't know about this page, but some of the parts seem not to be the same like the ones on my mainboard. Anyway I will check what they offer. Thanks

Hallo Patrick,

ich habe noch ein Aquafish auf Reserve als Ersatzteilspender. Das kannst du gegen Portoübernahme gerne haben. Sobald ich raus gefunden habe wie ich hier PM's schreibe, schicke ich dir meine Mail. :)
