Looks like the SD card is currently completely ignored by the built-in camera application. Even if the device has a card inserted and mounted, all pictures and videos taken are still stored in the built-in storage. There does not appear to be an option to change this.

Steps to reproduce

  1. open camera app
  2. take a photo or record a video
  3. see where the photo/video is stored

Actual outcome

photos/videos are always saved to internal storage and there is not option to change this

Expected outcome

user can select where to save photos & videos - to internal storage or to SD card (or some more advanced combination of those two)

I hope Jolla will provide better support for the sd card in the next os release. At the moment files written to the card can be read but you can't write to the card from the phone even using file manager.

That is not a bug, that is a missing feature IMO :-) but I guess it can be handled as bug too...

32GB definitely works, some 64GB are reported to work

Definitely a feature-request not a bug.

Solved installing 2.0.4.14 , in camera setting you can save to external SD card as default.

Cool. But now what happens when you change SD card? There is no auto read of inserted SD card nor an option of which previous one to use. Hope this is solved in the next release.
