Alarms, Sailfish os X and Xperia XA2

Has anyone else run into this: in recent versions of Sailfish X on Xperia XA2, acknowledging an alarm doesn't seem to work. Or rather, there's an alarm; I slide-select the alarm acknowledgement; the alarm goes off - and there's a new alarm five minutes later, as if I had selected snooze. This seems to affect at least calendar alarms, and also sometimes, clock alarms. Moreover, calendar alarms only play the alarm melody once, whether I acknowledge it or not (that could be by design?) - I mean, once at a time, and then again once after five minutes... Typically, the alarm will stop repeating after three or four retries.
