Bug: Android display timezone not set correctly [duplicate]

I have my timezone set to AWST, but in various Android apps messages show the datetime in UTC (it's the correct time in UTC, so it's just a user preference setting I'd imagine)

it is known issue, has been raised several times Jolla is working on it (most probably:))

Workaround (at least works with Nitrodesk Touchdown) - edit the file: /opt/alien/system.build.prop add the following row (with your own timezone): persist.sys.timezone=Europe/Helsinki
