Today, i lost the possibility to connect to the 3g network. Reboot or restarting connman did not help. Then after some restarts of connman, i completely lost connection to the mobile network. It looks like no sim was inserted.

Connection to the wlan was enabled most of the time. By the way i read about the Wlan-Bug and i think this is not related.

After i could not connect anymore, i put the sim-card into my N9 in which 3g network work flawless.

Then i switched off my jolla and put again the sim-card inside. But, only 2g works, which has a very slow speed.

How can i enable 3G, it works so good before??? Please help me.

I did a speedtest and have 18kB/s download and 2.9kB/s upload. It seems that EDGE is also not working.

journalctrl -f gives

ofonod[836]: data registration status is 2
connmand[779]: Failed to set regulatory domain
ofonod[827]: voice registration status is 1
start_alien.sh[1255] OfonoNetworkRegistration::propertyChanged

I can see that system_server (2.8% cpu) is working in the background.

Today, a lost again 3G in the same location. 3G comes back by manual selection my provider network. This time, WLAN was switched off.

I am the only one who has this problem?

Ok, i can answer my own question: By disabling the automatic network selection (Dont know the correct term as my jolla is set to german) and selecting my provider by hand, 3G appears again und works.

It was ok to enable the automatic provider selection afterwards.

I have the same problem. I've tried your trick but the connection stays in 2g (it shows 3g but the speed is 2g) Let's hope that the next weeks update fixes the thing.

I tried this too. I can see the 2G change to 3G but it reverts back shortly after that.

This is a log from my phone after playing with different settings:

I tried different sims and my sim in another device. It seems to be the phone.
