Save Twitter thumbnails on the phone

Can Twitter thumbnails and user pictures be saved on the phone instead of downloading them every time the feed is viewed?
Of course, those thumbnails that are not in the feed anymore, should be deleted.
It would save some KBs of data plan :).
I understand this could be more relevant when more than 10 twitter entries are displayed (https://together.jolla.com/question/2109/show-more-than-10-tweets-in-events/)
I was just about to post the same issue. Twitter images are only displayed when the phone is online, even if they were previously loaded.
I think this is a rather simple improvement to implement and with significant benefits on usability and data plans.
