Unlock with swipe up (instead of double tap)

It would be nice to have this feature. When the device is locked and you swipe up it should show you notifications as when it's unlocked.

That would be a really nice feature but there could be some undesired action while the phone is in your pocket - the simple solution is to use the proximity sensor! :)

BUT I woul not like to replace the double tap feature! Instead this should be an additional feature.

Like on BB10? If that's what I think, you can check notifications without unlocking the device. Just one finger up, take a look and swipe down and it's locked again. I don't know if it makes a big difference in usage and battery life or if it is just a habit to take but I am favorable.

I would when is unlocked, going back to last state like SymbianOS without actual intermediate taskman :-)

If you have a code setup in the security settings you can get this feature already.
