Login problem at shop.jolla.com [answered]

I had a problem logging into shop.jolla.com with my email address that is mapped to my user account Manatus.

I got error message that said that the user account or password was wrong. Using short login name would not work either, as it has to be email address.

I tried typing several times and in the end copy/paste.

Resetting password hung in the Jolla shop checkout.

Creating a new account failed with an error that email address already exists.

Workaround:

  1. I went to shop.jolla.com
  2. 'Log in' on the top right corner
  3. On the following page I still couldn't log in, but the reset password worked this time.
  4. I got the confirmation email, and after clicking the link I set the same password I had used previously (pasted it).
  5. Now the login worked. HapPy! :]

Interesting - got exactly the same problem, login into shop with mail I've used to purchase Jolla Phone failed several times.

Requested a new password - didn't get the password mail (found out it got deleted by antispam as it only contained Finnish language ...)

I then registered a new mail address and order got through ...

Now happily waiting for my 2 TOH's ...

the jolla-store password is not updated with the rest of your user account!

i've had the same problem befor realizing i was the problem... i'm just assuming you are a preorder customer? well, i was and so i got a password from jolla when i was invited to place my order... that was still the store-password for me because i never used the store afterwards and so i didn't change it...

I requested password reset also.

The problem is our Jolla accounts for everything else use username/password yet this time the store wanted email/password. I think.

Yes, I was pre-order customer, and I hadn't used the shop before yesterday. Only account.jolla.com when I made the pre-order. I was in the launch event too, so this really was the first time I was involved with shop.jolla.com.

Thanks for the answers.

I'll promote this as an answer and close the topic. It is very likely that for the pre-order customers the password had not synced to shop.jolla.com from the infrastructure that is used for both account.jolla.com and together.jolla.com.
