I noticed that I have two entries in the birthday calendar for one contact person and it is not possible to delete one of them. I am talking about my birthday stored in my contact card which I am sharing from time to time and which is stored in the personal data I have entered during first startup of the device.

I assume that the entry in the personal data which I can't access directly anymore is the reason for the second entry in the calendar?

If it is not possible to delete one entry in the calendar and if I want to keep my birthday in my contact card then I will have to live with it?

For now the only chance is to delete the birthday in the contact card in order to avoid duplicate entry

I'm not sure I understood you correctly, but I think I have the same problem.

I'll try to describe my view:

In the calendar, I have two entries for my own birthday. I think that one of these comes from the personal info I entered when I first started my phone, and the other comes from a 'People' contact I have for myself.

It would be nice if the duplicate calendar entry could be avoided.

I had the same problem and I solved it, by deleting the birthday entry in my contacts list. In my case, I had to delete a whole entry from my contacts and after deleting it won't be shown in my calendar. Hope it will help.
