Messages can be moved to a folder or set as read only from folder view long press menu. Would be nice to have an entry in the messageview's pully menu to move or set as read a message

Unfortunately pulley menus are not designed to accommodate many options, recommended max is 4, we might have to think about other solutions.

@VDVsx Message view actually has only 3 options

I agree that this is not efficient to come back to main view before moving a message to a folder ;-). Hope something can come up soon !

Perhaps letting people optimise for their workflows by showing/hiding the options they want/don't want would be the ultimate solution. NOTE: maybe that's a bad idea in general. I'm thinking of optimising my case: archiving by moving to folder XYZ (I use "archive long", "archive short", and sometimes a third option).

Would an option be to add these to the pulley that is empty after you swipe to the left on a open message? For me it would help to have "move" and "mark as unread" as for example if I open a mail that is unread from the "global" list of unread emails and then I decide I don't have time to read it right then as soon as I go back it is no longer unread and I have to go to the right mailbox and look it up to be able to mark it as unread.

A variant of this feature you may be interested in would be to have an archive action either in the pulley menu or when swiping right on a message.

I never needed to flag as archived a message, but I need to accommodate my mails in different folders, based on sender or argument. What you mean with "swiping right"?

I'm not speaking of flagging a message as archived, but of moving it to an 'archive' folder. It's one of the most common use cases of moving a message, that's why I thought it may interest people who read this question. There are of course other reasons why someone may want to move a message between folders.

I move messages to archive them, but I want to archive each message to its pertinent folder, not to a unique global archive folder.
