In the Jolla Store, you can you can pull down and select "My apps" to see a list of installed apps. I expected to see the version number displayed here, though I can't find it. Where can I find the version number?
Similarly, for Android apps, the Yandex Store doesn't appear to show app version numbers (except when an update is available). Where can I find the version number for Android apps?

The version number is visible on the app page, just click the description text to expand it, version info should become visible. This applies to Jolla store.
In Yandex store I have not found a way to see the version, but in 1 Mobile store it is visible.

Android solution.
Updated easier method:
The Yandex Store contains a free app named Super Manager 3.0, which is a collection of Android utilities. One of the utilities is called APK Manager, and that displays the version number for all your Android apps.
Previous harder method:
For Android apps, I've found a (fairly nasty) workaround for people with a Windows PC.
First install APK File Manager on your PC, and connect your Jolla to it.
The APK file contains the version info; it can be found in /data/app.
