The settings app cover looks to be "static" in that it does not change even if you left it in a sub menu (for instance transfers).

I find this a bit confusing, as i look and have to think "why is settings open?", then tap it and see it is the transfers screen (or whatever sub screen of settings i happened to have left it on)

Would be good to update with something a bit more "live".

(this is a slightly different request to this one - https://together.jolla.com/question/386/cover-action-on-settings-app/ which is looking for cover actions)

There is some "dynamic" contents in the Settings cover. For example file download occationally displays a circular icon, which shows download progress. Unfortunately this feature has been showing rather randomly. I have been able to make it show download progress only occasionally. Unless latest update has fixed it.

I think that having the transfers as a part of the settings app is confusing.

True, having Transfers under settings is a bit confusing, but there is no-where else more logical.

And most of the time i only access transfers from the Events screen anyway (whch is probably what inspired this suggestion)

I don't see how a transfers "app" wouldn't be more logical than hiding it in settings?

The settings cover shows the enabled/disabled status of flight mode, WLAN, mobile data and Bluetooth. When there is an ongoing transfer it shows a progress indicator.

I had not noticed that! I guess i don't change status of those enough.

For me it was more the case that, if i had navigated to a sub screen from the main one, it was not clear which screen the setting app was on, but the logic does make sense.
