I think I must have missed something. When I first booted my Jolla it asked me a number of questions (name, birthdate etc) as the owner of the phone. Trouble is that I can't find where to edit that information, given I made a typo ...

I'm sure I'm just missing an obvious setting somewhere to allow me to edit this, but where?

interesting... I removed my obviously wrong answer, must give this a second thought. However, I think you haven't missed any setting - there doesn't seem to be one.

(Haven't seen @simo's answer, so my attempt of an answer below might be just as wrong ... )

Try Jolla account login, maybe?

I had already created my Jolla account, and therefore didn't have to enter anything (apart from username and password) via my Jolla, so the above link may be wrong.

It isn't critical since, apart from the original Welcome message the typo has not reared its ugly head again.

@strongm :-)

(I added an answer here, mainly because @magullo had the same question, and I closed that for being a duplicate of this. :-) )

My Jolla account has my right name, but on Jolla I figure with a wrong one. If you look at how the device broadcasts itself via bluetooth, you'll see the "your wrong name's Jolla", unless you have already changed it. Probably there's a config somewhere that needs to be changed, I am still digging.

Hello @magullo, and welcome to Jolla2gether (together.jolla.com)!

In my opinion, the above isn't an answer, but rather a comment.

(Yes, there's a character counter on comments, but it's ok to just ignore it - all characters are published, even if the counter says "-200 characters left" ... and apart from that, your text is way less than 500 characters long.)

Thanks @phle, still getting used to together. Luckily it is possible to change response type, so I switched to comment. Regards.
