It has happened that with 1.0.3.8 release multiple dalvik apps are rendered in the same cover; with only the latest used being visible. all others apparently are still active, and running, but not switchable (i.e. their covers are not shown). Relaunching a non-visible-cover dalvik app shows it in the "single" cover again.

I don,t have this behavior. Although I am not shore I understand you right. I presume you mean the app covers within the Dalvik engine. If you mean the covers on the sailfish home screen then this is normal behavior. There can only be one cover for Andrioid apps

This is a duplicate of "Android applications should not be grouped in the same window", so I'll close this question.

(for your info, though:
Android is, as far as I know, not "multitasking" in the way that you can see several apps running simultaneously.
If you want to switch between Android apps, you press the overlaying rectangles on the lower right.)

That's normal since it is one VM in which all the Android Apps are running. And btw: before 1.0.3.8 it was not different.

Au contraire, mon fre, I would not call that "normal" - especially not from a usability standpoint;

I do not see any reason for not having more than one instance of any emulator / whatever piece of sw running alien dalvik apps - except for it being intentional, which again proves the point that it is not "normal", but, well, "intentional" :). I am fine with it btw.
