If I'm playing a game and the battery notification pops up, the whole device (UI) freezes for up to 30 seconds, and then it resumes, often stuttering for a couple of seconds.

It's then OK up until the next notification, which does the same thing all over again. This is extremly noticeable if I'm playing Candy Crush (guilty as charged...) which is an Android game.

This is a duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/2506/ui-is-not-responsive-at-low-battery-level-10/ Maybe you can jump in there.

Yes clearly a duplicate especially when it seems that it's abt the battery empty notifications (,< 10 % of juice left). Best addressed in the existing question.

I agree it's a duplicate. I tried to find a reported issue but wasn't able to.
