How to disable mobile internet (2G,3G,4G)? [answered]

I was wondering if it's possible to completely disable mobile internet. Currently toggling the Internet option does not disable it completely. I've had a few moments while using apps where the app requires internet access and opens up the mobile/WLAN menu and I somehow screw up and press the mobile option, instantly activating the mobile internet.

Is it possible to disable mobile internet completely from root? I'd rather have normal bills every month :)

Hi Vinyl, I've just checked this out. it seems that it can be disabled from Settings/System/Mobile Network/Mobile Broadband - enable/disable. I chose 'disable' and when playing with apps that require internet, no connection is attempted by the phone. Regards, image description

you meant Settings >> System >> Mobile Network >> Internet right???

@ApB - No, on my phone at least, it is named Mobile Broadband (above 'Data roaming' text), probably because I'm using my SIM for internet connection - maybe?? But if yours says Internet, then I guess it's the same thing, as the aim (so I thought) was to disable the connection not just turn it off. :) Regards,

This is the right answer? The apps can ask for mobile data connection when this setting is disabled on my phone (and that fine this way, I'd say that for Vinyl's request there could be an additional option).
