I tried to find an answer but couldn't find anything that would help me. I have imported all my contacts from my sim-card and added some by hand. (I haven't used Facebook to merge any number) I cant edit nor delete any number I have in my contacts!? Most of them are "home" numbers. I can delete the whole contact but cant do a thing to a single number in a contact. What should I do?

Oh there is this an icon of earth (planet) in front of the number. Those numbers that has that icon can't be edited or deleted.

I have the same issue. Select edit on the pulley menu, press and hold on a phone number for instance and nothing happens. It is a tad annoying.

Those "Earth icon" details are coming from some external source (eg. Google, MS Exchange, Facebook) and indeed you cannot edit them on Jolla, only at the source. I belive it is rather some stupid legal restriction than a technical difficulty :-(

Ok, that explains a lot. All contacts I imported from my sim-card has this "earth icon", after importing them I linked the numbers which didn't link automatically to Facebook ( because of the name differences) I cant edit/delete these numbers from my sim-card, is it because of the link i have made? and how could i fix it?

Can you edit/delete the number, if you unlink it first? Select Link from the pulley and tap the linked contact you want to unlink.

Yes, this is correct. In fact, it is a technical difficulty - we don't support synchronizing changes back up to the originating service yet, so we don't allow this data to be edited. In the future it will be possible to edit this data and have the changes propagated back to the origin (provided this behaviour is supported and enabled for the service).

You have to use the pulley menue and choose edit. Than go to phone numbers and press and hold on the number you want to delete/edit.

What happens when you press and hold on the number?

Nothing, I can hold my finger on top of the number as long as I like but nothing happens.

If the number in question does not have the earth icon (read the answer above) then there are two ways. Open the contact and pull down the editor. Tap on Phone to see the phone number(s).
Then either:
- touch the number quickly so that it gets a different colour; also keyboard appears
- use the Backspace key on the keyboard to remove the digits one-by-one
- once done, tap on Accept near top right corner (or swipe to the left) to save the change
or:
- tap and hold a finger on the number until a menu pops up
- take 'Delete'
- wait for the remorse timer to run
- tap on Accept near top right corner (or swipe to the left) to save the change.
