I'm unable to install jolla maps application. I tried to install maps in sailfish version as delivered to me and also in the latest one 1.0.3.8. I get waiting status and after that notification "Problem with store" and Problem with installing maps". So far I tried (as suggested in other posts) "pkcon refresh and zypper clean -a" without success. I wanted to install it trough terminal but I couldn't locate the package ... what is its name? :) Thank you.

UPDATE: actually later I discovered that I can not install any app from jolla store, after factory reset I had a problem to login back to my jolla account. Oauth2 removal didn't helped, just the creation/registration of the new jolla account. Now everything works, however I'm still unable to use my original jolla account.

If you already find yourself in the situation that the store crashes each time, do a pkcon install store-client and pkill store-client

How did you sign into your Jolla account. I chose my email as login name and had the same issues. After changing the username to my - well - username ('hwesselmann') chosen when logging into together, all went well.

I had this same problem. And this worked for me:

  • in a browser, log in on https://account.jolla.com
  • click on your username to open the upper-right menu
  • select "Oauth2 applications"
  • remove the application/name that is in the list

  • on the Jolla, open settings

  • navigate to accounts
  • open the Jolla acount
  • from the pull-down menu, select "Update sign-in credentials" and walk through the steps

  • try to install Maps again

If you use the e-Mail as username to log into your Jolla account then you get these issues. Use your username to log in.

This was not working for me. Maps wasn't available at all in the store first. I just got my phone 3 days ago. Then I did an update to 1.0.8.21 and Maps was there but I didn't install it. Now I did an update to 1.1.1.27 and tried to install Maps the first time. It doesn't work. Even after deleting Oauth2 applications and updating credentials.

Did everything according to the instructions, but the result is still the same, and can't install maps from the store. There is a link to download not from a store?
