How can Jolla sells their phone without native Skype( useful for making free Skype to Skype talk) and Whatsapp?
Well, Jolla can leave the Whatsapp job to Coderus and how about Skype?
Is this a real question, a feature request, or just a comment? Would be nice to have them native, but that's why we have Android compatibility. What we need soon, is a fully integrated SIP client. For easy and fast setup there should be a couple of preconfigured operators. Voila, we have free VoIP, and possibly video.

Anyway, most phones sold don't have these apps preinstalled. You'd have to install them yourself. And you can do the same (with the Android versions) on the Jolla.

That means for a small player like Jolla, way higher prices for the phone. Also they have to make some thirdparty company make the app since Microsoft would not do it for them.
I agree with above we need good open SIP/VoIP support and push that harder instead of use closed unsafe protocols like skype.
I am actually suprised that companys STILL use such unsafe protocols like skype...
