Faint red light from sensors?

There is a very faint red light from the sensor area (top right corner) of the phone. Is this normal?
I can see mine at night. In daylight I can't see anything on my Jolla. So either your Jolla has a LED with a slighty off wavelength or your eyesight is extraordinary and you can see IR ;) Or we just have a different meaning of what is bright and what isn't....

It also bother me. I'm not sure if it was visible since the beginning or if I did something wrong. But it's not visible on the other phones I've checked on (I can't even see it with a camera on the N9, but maybe it's because the glass in front of it is tinted?)
