Hello again, as the title suggests; I posted an ANSWER to a question, just a few minutes ago. Nobody has down voted the comment that I can see, yet somehow, 4 karma points have been taken from me - why is this?? Regards,

It's written in your karma changelog: you downvoted someone (-5pt) and then canceled your downvote (+1pt). Total: -4pt.

If you look in your profile you'll see that your karma got reduced by 5 because you probably down-voted another question. Than, after you revoked your down-vote you got +1 karma. hence -4 Karma.
