Adding an event to the calendar and setting it "Recurring Every week", results in the event added to the calendar every day till end of recurrence. There is something odd in the events added. While in the month view all days are marked, on the details (below the calendar view) only the event in the correct day retains the correct time, the rest are showing "All day". Also, starting from the second week, they seem to accumulate. After a reboot and changing locales to english, the bug is still there

Ok, I was adding the events in the wrong way. In the Description field, the starts/ends fields are for a single event. Then, when setting "recurring Every week" there is no way to limit the duration of the recurrence. so I put that in the Description field and all sort of weird things happened. My mistake :P

It will be useful, however, to add a field for "recurrence until xxxx date"

I second this request for an extra field to end the recurrence. As most of the recurring events tend to have an end date, we now only have the option to either enter them all separately (very cumbersome) or use recurrence and have the calendar become useless for scheduling after the end date.
