I'd like to raise attention for a question already tagged as answered:

https://together.jolla.com/question/2721/jolla-application-store-web-version/

This post asks the question of having a website version of harbour, but the accepted reply heads into a quite different direction, discussing how to handle app-related discussions.

The original question targets an extremely useful functionality, in particular for getting an overview about new applications:

It would be good to have a web interface for Jolla store to quickly browse through available apps, see comments etc. not only from the Jolla device.

I don't understand why you post this question. What kind of answer would you like to have, and what vote here will mean? AFAIK I think "It would be good to have a web interface for Jolla store to quickly browse through available apps, see comments etc. not only from the Jolla device." so I have already voted there.

@marsch, you can still discuss this issue in the original question, although the answer is marked as "correct". The question has >200 votes and the answer has 27; I think that means that people consider this an important thing but not everybody agrees with the answer given. This new question contains nothing new and should be closed as a duplicate.

(Besides, Harbour is not Jolla Store. Harbour is for developers, Jolla Store is for downloads.)

@TeHeR@ssahla Sure, harbour is for developers, but the store is app only currently. Because all Jolla authorized apps come from harbour, it seems the natural place to show a directory of what's available. That's at least what I would expect, instead of the exclusive "my own account and nothing else" view..

Regarding the repost of the original question: It's been uncommented for a month with no real valid reply; with increasing users, website app access should be something to take for granted.

@marsch, so you're suggesting that the existing web interface (Harbour) could be used as an app catalog / store for all users, right? If so, then this is not a duplicate, but should be formulated more clearly :) The linked question is about creating a web interface for the Store, it doesn't mention Harbour. You could post your suggestion as an answer there.
