[Feature request] Quick search in mail app

As a Jolla user, I can search by sender/subject/body text in mail folders.
EDIT: This one just needed a push up to front page (after over a year), looking at the answer and it's comments
EDIT: Latest update implements search although don't think it is at folder level. That is, when am searching Sent items it seems to fetch from other folders too. A problem when you have lot of mails and want to narrow down your results.
It would be nice if the search was extended server side, like it happens on Windows Phone 8 email client (if nothing is found on the phone you're prompted to search online).

NikosAlexandris ( 2013-12-24 22:05:30 +0300 )editI don't think individual new enhancements should be bundled into one big enhancement request. That gives Jolla know proper guidance on what to prioritise and only messy ways to track what is done or not.

When you have a lot of mails this is really needed to enable use of mail client. Needed when looking after certain mail to be answered or mail containing some important information (eg. ticket, address or similar)
Vesa ( 2014-03-03 14:53:15 +0300 )editI assume this topic is about search not being possible at all in the mail app, just different methods of sorting. Searchin email is an essential feature. I have a flat multi GB Inbox and without search capabilities the app is pretty much useless to me.
