Please open source the timer application

Not sure if I should call it a feature request or an idea... but I would like to ask Jolla to Open Source the timer. There are some issues with it (e.g. reset problem) and some feature request and I'd like to take a stab on them. I know I could make my own application, but I would have to replicate most features, because I like most of current functions...
It also seems like a great starter application for code contributions. The browsers is currently open source, but there are a lot things that would need a lot of testing after changes (mostly due to security and performance reasons). The timer application seems simple and security should not be a problem as it doesn't really use external resources. I could be wrong, but it also seems to be technically simple and have a lot of Sailfish OS specific features. So that also seems like a perfect show-case application for developers.
I made the Kitchen Timer app for the same reasons, even though I hadn't seen the Timer app before I started ;)
