[feature-request] Hide/mark duplicate questions in Jolla together [answered]

As many don't follow Jolla forum constantly, some ideas are voted in more than one posting. If moderators would mark the duplicate questions instead of just closing the threads and if we could also tick a "hide duplicates" -box, voting could be more accurate as the "right" thread to vote would be easier to find.

@Murtsi Have you tried the special tag filters on the right side of the TJC questions page? The Ignored tags should be quite good for your purpose. Remember to select also correct radio buttom below the tag fields ;)

The moderators already are doing this but also you can add dublicate tag to indicate that closed question is dublicate of some other question. This is however related to to your Karma level also and might not work until you get more points :(

However using the tag dublicate on ignored tags filter should reduce the hits automatically from current 4131questions with -116 questions marked currently as dublicates, but apparently the dublicate tag used in Ignored filter doesn't work at the moment???

The original guideline by @simo is in here => https://together.jolla.com/question/4810/filter-duplicates-questions-in-askbot/

@eric can you check and verify why applying the dublicate tag doesn't work as expected - thanks

or were all dublicate tagged questions filtered out by default already

Bugger, I never noticed the "duplicate" tag. As there is no "stupid" tag, I think no tags need to be added to my question.

@Murtsi - No problem, let's wait and see, if get the tag filter to work for dublicate tag as well.
