Auto-lock is in the background when android apps are maximized [released]

I have configured the auto-lock feature to get on instantly, as soon the display is off.

When I have android apps running (meaning having then open in front of the UI and not minimized) the display gets black, but after double-tapping the screen, I'm not prompted for the unlock-code: The andoid app container is just there and ready to use. For instance I can type messages in threema or I can browse website with opera. I don't need to unlock anything. The lock screen affects only the native sailfish UI, which comes clear when you swipe from the right into the middle to minimize the android container: In that case I'm prompted to unlock it via my code instantly.

The lock screen has to be displayed in the foreground always. Otherwise its useless when android apps are running. Workaround is to minimize or close them before putting the jolla out of your hands, in order to get back to native sailfish front-end.

After the last update you have to wait more than 30 seconds after the screen goes black - otherwise after double-tapping the last app will be shown immediately. That's a cool feature, especially when reading something. Anyway this described problem should be fixed.

I agree that double-tapping after the first 30 seconds shows the screen just like it was before, is quite convenient. Probably the problem doesn't exist when you choose an according lock-screen time (30 seconds or more...) - so thanks for adding this. :) Taking this information into account, the security risk is also rather low: Someone has to 'steal' your jolla within the first 30 seconds after the display is off. Usually this is not going to happen but: Never say never ;)

I've also tested it... So now we know that it's the same behaviour for all apps (incl. the Android layer). Only when unlocking in the first 30 seconds after screen is locked you're able to use the last running app - if you want to close/minimize the app (and go to homescreen) the phone will ask you for the PIN. Maybe Jolla would like to change this: even after fast unlocking it should ask for the PIN, what do you think?

Yes indeed. That's how it should work.

This one has been fixed so far as I can confirm for 1.0.5.19 now. So I'll close it...

Sorry, but this is not fixed. I have had this ever since. And it is still present in 3.1.0.11 on my Xperia X. Can't tell, if it is fixed for XA2...
