Does the phone have a default root password and if you forget your password is there any way to get it back without resetting the device completely?

How can one run devel-su if one doesn't know the password?

Disable developer's mode and enable it again. Then edit a new password when enabling the SSH conection. That should be enough!

This suddenly (since 1.1.0.39 (Uitukka)?) requires the security code, which I configured at some time but decided not to enable and have forgotton. Yay!

This does not work in Sailfish X. 1. Disabled Remote Connection. 2. Disabled Developer Mode. 3. Rebooted phone. 4. Enabled Developer Mode. 4. Enabled Remote Connection. This generated a new password. 5. Go to Terminal app and type 'su'. 6. Enter password. EXPECTED: To be root user. ACTUAL: Invalid password.
