Hello Sailors!
I'm a Jolla user from Canada. I recently switched wireless providers to be on a provider that supports the 2600/7 band that DNA Finland currently supports. I was wondering if it is a safe assumption that I will be able to use LTE on my network in Canada since it has (one of) the same supported frequency as DNA?
edit: I would be happy to do any testing on this side of the pond if needed.

At the moment 4G LTE is not yet enabled. According to another post, Jolla will support LTE frequencies 800, 1800 and 2600 MHz (LTE bands 20, 3 and 7).
I understand Rogers has the most extensive 2600 MHz coverage in Canada. Once LTE is enabled, Jolla will work on the network where 2600 MHz is deployed, but not in areas which only have 1700 MHz.

Craig, what provider are you using Jolla on, I thought only 2G was supported in Canada on the Jolla. Are you able to get 3G on any of the carriers in Canada? I'm in Canada and desperately want a Jolla too!
Jon ( 2014-04-17 19:56:53 +0300 )editSorry for the late reply. Rogers and Bell both have the 2600/7 bands deployed. From what I know, Bell has only two small pockets, while Rogers is deployed across the entire Greater Toronto Area.
