No sound - Speaker broken? [released]

Hello,

Since a few days I have no sound at all in my Jolla speaker. The normal "phone" speaker is working and the headphone plug as well, but no alarm sound, nor ringing or even touch screen feedback sounds are heard. Could you please help me on this? Isn't there a way of checking the hardware within the OS?

I know it may be an obvious question but have you tried re-booting the phone? Then have you tried changing the ambiance to a stock one?

Are the sound-files from internal memory or microSD (if microSD, set tunes from internal)? What does playing music/video do?

For checking hardware you may use the csd tool (on your own risk)

cmdline :> csd

or via dialpad

Just tried that but no sound came out for the speaker test :(

The problem is resolved since the software update. It was visibly software related problem :-)
