Cannot turn off screen grace time functionality [answered]

When an application is open and the screen goes black due to timeout, the active application remains accessible without having to enter the screen lock code after opening the screen if the screen is opened during the "grace time" that was introduced in a recent patch.
This might be useful to someone, but there really should be an option in the settings to disable this grace time, because leaving the foremost app accessible without having to enter the screen lock code is a big security risk. Imagine if anybody could just open your screen and access your bank accounts, private info or corporate data just like that. More likely case is that your kids could access some app market and buy games with your money.
This needs a fix asap.
It only works for 15 seconds after screen going blank, after that is back to lock screen, but an option would be nice, I'd rather have it behave longer in this way for example (not sure what security risk is there in those 15 seconds, if you lock the phone and leave it lock code will be needed, if those extra 15 seconds are the risk :/ you already left the phone, no?)
szopin ( 2014-03-04 13:19:35 +0300 )edit@szopin, perhaps an option with "Close immediately ... after 5 seconds .. 15 seconds ... 25 seconds" or something along those lines. Granted, it is a fringe case, but I don't like the fact that it might be unlocked even for a few seconds. You never know the circumstances (I could mistakenly think I already locked the phone and look the other way, for instance), and I would rather be safe than sorry.
