wlan stops working out of range of network [answered]

With the wlan connected, if I go out of range then the indicator changes to the empty symbol (all normal so far). Then when I come back into range the network doesn't show up again and in fact none of my saved networks appear. I have to reboot the device to get the wireless working again

I tried disabling and reenabling but that doesn't work.

I've tried using modprobe as in this thread: https://together.jolla.com/question/24849/wlan-wifi-reset-without-reboot/ but that didn't work.

I also tried turning on the mobile data. The mobile data works but wireless does not.

Anybody got any ideas?

Ah, I think this issue might take a bit longer to reproduce. I just after going out of range of the wireless and then came back into range and the phone reconnected! Pesky Jolla! I'll update when I do manage to reproduce

What if you try restarting connman? In terminal, as root, systemctl restart connman.service

Edit: converted to answer on request. If it's connman that's the problem, you may want to check out https://together.jolla.com/question/27467/is-connman-going-to-be-updated-and-when/
