Is there any way to move or copy files from Transfers to home directory e.g. Documents?

Once a file is transfered to the phone via for example Bluetooth, you can find them in different folders depending on what type of files they are. You can download an app (e.g. File Manager or Cargo Dock from Jolla Store) to move/copy them around. File Manager has built in function for installing apk/rpm. But Cargo Dock with its two panes for opening different folders at the same time is quite handy for copying multiple files in one batch. There's also an file manager app called Filetug at Openrepos, which you can use to rename files in addition to functions in File Manager.

Odd that apk files are downloaded to the Documents folder instead of the Downloads folder.

Really? I had them in Downloads folder (haven't downloaded any apk's for a while)

When I send them via Bluetooth from my android device, they end up in Documents :P

You can move files only connecting via ssh to the phone, as far as I can see. Transfer files end up in Download folder of user nemo, and from there you can manage them.
