Requesting for native park man application for sailfish OS. Maybe some developer could take this up? BTW, when I go http://www.parkmanworld.com/ with my Jolla it proposes that I would download Windows Phone version iof the application. I think that is a bug...

There are a number of problems. There appears to be no open API to allow for programming such a client - it would have to be reverse engineered. Reverse engineering means that the application is both fragile to changes of the API, and may have action taken against it by parkman to stop it working. Does the android app work?

What API is missing? I have not managed to get android app. Parkmanworld.com points to Play Store where I can't load app - I know that could be tweaked but I am acting as average user... Any pointers to where I could download .apk appreciated ;-)

Would be nice to have Parkman on Jolla. I asked Parkman if they're going to publish app for Jolla, and today I received an answer, they said there has been too few requests for it (they are not going for Sailfish unless there is enough need for it).

An API is an application programming interface - a specified way for programs to interact with services. In this case - it would be required to develop a sailfish app.

If you are merely looking for a way to install the android app - https://together.jolla.com/question/30926/howto-install-google-play/ I believe may answer your question.

Should probably have asked "which API is missing"? I know what API is, but API for doing what is missing in this case?

An API published by parkman that specifies how to log onto the service and the protocols for doing various things that would enable some third party to code an application. For example 'open a TCP connection to port 39393 on parkman.com and send 'login username password<cr>'</cr>
