phone unresponsive while connect to wifi [duplicate]

Every time the phone is searching or is switching wifi or network, phone/applications become unresponsive. Screen is completely locked, you can not swipe, touch ... nothing. As soon the phone is reconnected to network you get an "application unresponsive" message asking to wait or close currently running application. Maybe this is related to application itself ? I was running QuickRadio.
Isn't this the same as this: Connection error clogged up the phone or connection error while on wifi.
If those are the same, please vote on them and close this as a duplicate.
