Frame rate significantly drops if there are more events in the calendar application [released]

See the screenshots, the calendar app feels really sluggish if we have events for each day. Please point it out if this is reported before.

Persists after 1.0.5.16, even if the 'GPU performance tweak' is used.

The calendar UI can become quite complex and as a result, the graphics stack gets to struggle a bit. We are working on moving the stack to Qt 5.2 which will bring a new renderer (http://blog.qt.digia.com/blog/2013/09/02/new-scene-graph-renderer/). This move, in addition to other performance improvements, should help Calendar to perform like the rest of the UI.

I can't say when we'll have an update out based on Qt 5.2, but it hopefully isn't too far away.
