Example is cryptogram newsletter. Rendering looks ok but scrolling is slow and flickers alot, framerate really low.
Also, the bullets on top left corner are hardly visible against white background. And switching orientation screws up the bullets too, left/right swipe no longer works in portrait mode...

Feels a bit better, thanks. Latest Schneiers Cryptogram https://www.schneier.com/crypto-gram-1412.html renders ok'ish. Scrolling is fast and not too much flicker is visible. Though using the fast scroll buttons to top and bottom of the page first shows a complete background picture on the display for a few frames before the plain text with white background becomes visible.
It's ok but I wouldn't call this rendering smooth. But maybe it's the best there can be...
