I have updated yesterday to 1.0.4.20 and everything went smoothly. I have 3 email accounts setup on the device. I used the new "Select e-mails" option in the main e-mail screen and selected e-mails from multiple accounts and deleted them. The delete operation was probably sucessful however it left the e-mail list in a broken state, blank screen with two three emails being displayed and gaps between them, instead of a full list of emails. I didn't investigate further.

Overnight I got a notification for 3 new emails and I soon as I selected the notification and went to the email application main screen, it is empty and displays: No accounts, Email account is not set yet etc.

So somehow all the email accounts were removed from the device. I am not sure if this is at all related with the addition of multi-select + delete in the main screen of the email application, however I am mentioning it since it was the only actions I did related to email after the update.

Apparently after rebooting the email accounts are still there.

Does it work now ? Email application does not have any code to remove accounts, so hard to believe it was caused by that. As for the gaps when moving many emails can happen, this is fixed already internally.

Thanks for getting back, I didn't have any issues since rebooting. As I (poorly) described in this post all the accounts and emails along with access details were present and functional, without having to configure anything after the reboot. Maybe it is more likely to have been caused somehow by the update itself since there have been some cases where people got their settings lost/defaulted after updating. Somebody has lost its APN settings for internet access for example.

Once again, thanks for getting back and its good to know that the "gaps in list" behaviour has been identified and fixed already internally :)
