Funny it started just after the newly update !! I get 20-40 calls on this phone everyday so it a bit Critical :..(

I am not saying that you do not have a problem or that it is not critical. Just that it might be something else not related to update as other devices(e.g. mine) are not experiencing it.

I had similar problems (incoming/outgoing calls make the phone reboot) with 1.0.3.8, after a full reset, those problems dissapeared. Now on 1.0.4.20 I have not seen a single reboot so far. I know it is a pain, but maybe you can try to reset. Hope it helps

I also experienced this (infrequently - 2 times): right in the middle of a phone call my Jolla restarted. However as I also had a restart two times in the 'Nachrichten' (chat?) application and one time with email, I suppose that it has to do either with the battery contacts or maybe software related.

Since January I had never had a restart. It only happened after the last update (or the one before, not sure).

What is the operator you are using? Do you have contacts on your SIM card? Have you had any SIM or mobile network issues before?

Check if you have showing of SIM card contacts enabled. You can check this from Settings->Apps->People and "Show SIM contacts automatically". If you have that setting enabled, try to disable it and check if the problem persists or disappears.

In case the problem persists after checking that the "show SIM contacts" is disabled: shutdown the device, take battery out for 10mins and put the battery back to the device. And check if this helps to fix the issue.

Agh.. that did not help it cut out at incoming call, in the middle of a call and in the middel of out going calls ?? First incoming call gave black screen and led flashing green, I could reboot by key press . And this is with "Show SIM contacts automatically" disable !

This issues could maybe also be caused by a loose battery or/and a full btrfs-metadata volume... Check out the related questions :)

I guess your issue belongs to the bootloop/charge problems widely discussed - I had exactly the same issue and finally sent the phone to repair. After I got it back this issue was gone - repaired item was documented as "exchange of SIM card reader" which is also noted in several threads.

The pity is, that Jolla is not very open on commenting such widespread problems ... so it's probably the best to send it for repair.

Hmm... I thinke maybe "The paper under the battery" trick did the right thing :-P After many reboots pr. Day , the problem is gone !!!! One would wonder why the quality of battery socket is so bad !? When so many mobile phones has been made !?
