[BUG]Data connection lock-ups after

I have experienced following behaviour of data connection after update:

  • mobile data connection icon is stuck on screen with exclamation mark inside.

  • mobile data settings in menu become inactive and toggling mobile data ON/OFF doesn't seem to have any effect. icon stays on screen

  • toggling WIFI ON/OFF doesn't seem to do anything as well.

  • at one point the entire setting application freezes and the system suggest to close it down. Opening it again does not improve anything in the situation.

  • in the mean time no internet connection is working.

Restarting connman.service solves it. I do not get repeated connection problem messages as with previous releases. Due to the numerous connection issues Jolla has had so far I am not sure that this behaviour is, but I have not experienced this before the update. Past 2 days I had exactly the same problem each day.

EDIT: restarting connman.service makes the UI feel not smooth, especially when apps are opening. I had to reboot the device because of this. PS. I apologize if there is a duplicate question, I didn't find the same pattern described.

I had the opposite problem. My data connection (not Wi-Fi) starts automatically even if I turn it OFF. Solutions?
