Disabled synced calendars are auto-enabled after reboot. I noticed this behavior after the 1.0.4.20 update.

How to reproduce:

  1. Set up calendar sync (i.e. Google Calendar) with multiple calendars
  2. Go to Calendar -> Manage calendars
  3. Disable some of the synced calendars
  4. Reboot
  5. Go back to Calendar -> Calendars

Expected behavior:

  • Disabled calendars stay disables

What happens instead:

  • All synced calendars are now enabled

FYI I have just tested it and I could not reproduce it. I disabled one synced calendar (one of my google account) then rebooted. I have opened the calendar app again, and the synced calendar was still disabled ;-)

Thank you for your feedback. That's interesting, because I did the exact same thing (Google Calendar, one disabled).

I could reproduce this on 2.0.2 (Jolla C) using google calendar that should not appear in the menu on the calendar app in the first place, since i have disabled calendar syncing on my google account in accounts menu.

I was able to reproduce it only twice, so it looks like an isolated incident. Therefore I am closing the bug for now. Feel free to comment if you experience this as well.

May be you need to leave sufficient time before rebooting to let the system properly store the parameter. So if you are too quick to reboot, you may have again the 'bug'
