Closing the alarm window should snooze [released]

When trying to snooze or dismiss an alarm while half-asleep, I sometimes accidentally close the alarm overlay window by swiping down. This doesn't silence the alarm; it just goes on.
The alarm can be dismissed by disabling it from the Clock application. However, by the time you have it disabled, you have probably woken up completely. That is not what you wanted if you were trying to use snooze in the first place.
Thus I suggest that closing the alarm window should be equivalent to choosing snooze from the pulley menu.
You know you can snooze the alarm by swiping left or right to home screen?

Then you would not need to change the system wide meaning of the swipe action for a single app. (The ideas stated in that other question could all be realized within the app, i.e. locally.)
But I agree, a solution must be provided (therefore the vote) -- and it seems, 40 upvotes are not sufficient for Jolla to take on that issue.

TLem ( 2014-03-21 23:09:58 +0300 )edit@jgr: Are you sure that this cannot be implemented locally? I would imagine the app could start a timer when it receives a signal to quit or something like that. And when it comes to the meaning of the quit action, in my opinion it would be just natural that closing the app silences the alarm.

By the way: When the alarm has gone off and I swipe-closed the Clock app thereby also shutting down the display, the power button did not work for me. I only could double tap the display to switch on again the display, then restart the Clock app and switch off the alarm.
