Time is automatically adjusted when travelling from one time zone to another. Good!

Calendar event times are also automatically adjusted in such cases by the same time lag. Not good for many reasons.

2 suggestions:

1) event time remain unchanged and fixed at all time.

2) a new option to define time zone for a given event is proposed.

I fully agree, and think that your first suggestion is the way to do. When someone is fixing an event, one always think in the local time.

I think the current behaviour is even a bug, you may like to change the title to reflect this if you think so.

To show this buggy behaviour, create a new event at a given time with an alarm on the time of the event (e.g. a train to take after travelling to a different time zone). Then change the time zone (to symbolise the travel) and notice that the event will be triggered at the time in the previous time zone but not at the local time (and the train is missed).
