Internet connection drops after 1.0.4.20 FW Update [not relevant]

After new firmware release I noticed that Internet connection drops totally off after I updated to latest firmware 1.0.4.20. You just can notice that your emails does not sync, applications does not have connection at all. I have to switch on and off 3G or wifi to get connectivity back.

You can see the small connection icon with ! -symbol on it. Before I just had a writen message that phone has a connection problem..

Reliability has dropped down even more on lates firmware version. (bluetooth problems still exists)

I cannot confirm your description at all. With 1.0.4.20 I have less connection problems. Before I had frequently the "connection problem" bug (wifi + 3G) which made it almost impossible to use the phone at all. This is gone completely now.

It's for sure not perfect but much more stable.

Have you checked all your network settings are correct as per your provider?

What are the persistent 'bluetooth problems you have??

@c.la Yep. I agree. I can't understand why somebody would downvote an issue reported. I myself don't have this connection problem, but I understand that there have been some strange behaviours with all kinds of connections.

Yes I have checked all my network settings and also 3G connection settings. Now I just can't see any reason why my phone stops to access Internet and there for my mails stops to update. There is no specific time interval after the connection stops, it just stops after random time interval. Somehow this seems to be related issue to wifi+3G connection problem - now the phone just don't inform anything about connection broblem and application just tryes to access online services.

The exclamation mark over the wlan/mobile data icon is to show that there's a problem with the connectivity. However there can be plenty of reasons for this.. and we are working to make the user experience better for this kind of issues.

Could you tell which operator are using? and does the problem happen also with wlan connections?

I use Elisa and one sympthom is that I don't have that exclamation mark icon when there is a problem with the connectivity. Yes and the problem happends also with wlan connection. Usually this problem occurs when switching from wlan to 3G or othervice...

I have similar issue. When Wifi and data are both on in settings, sometimes data disconnects and even internet option in settings dissapears. Not only the data quick access in settings is not selectionable, the option "internet" is not present, only appear the roaming option and the options below it. Only re-appears after reboot the phone. If i use only data, it works ok until i arrive home, and even the wifi is disconected, the phone appear to try to connect to it, often the menu "wich connection want to use: data or wifi" appears.
