I would like to use my jolla most of the time in landscape mode, even startscreen, lockscreen etc. (n900 was great in this aspect)

therefore I request to enable a "100% landscape mode"

It would be great if there was flexibility. I'd like to use my smartphone in landscape mode most of time, but not for phone app and probably few other apps.

Mentioned in iteration update in January 2015:

Our next big UI task is to enable landscape mode in apps, system dialogs, active covers, and optimise the design for the best use of the additional space.

Obviously this didn't make it into the 2.0 release :(

This is quite important especially for those who pre-ordered TOHKBD and will soon be using their Jolla quite a lot in landscape. I'd like to suggest that the landscape would be enabled in at least to to tilt angle on which the keyboard is pulled down.

As there are left and right handed users, however, both left and right tilt landscape would be even better

And for people using the phone in car, it would be great to be able to plug the charger into the phone from bottom side - for that, why not all 4 rotation angles then

It´s selfbuild for Fiat Navport (Abarth 500) on Dashbord. I rebuild a TomTom Adapter with 3D Printed TOH and Brodit Converter for internal powersupply without any visible cables. Connection to interact with USB MP3 Interface and CAN is planed
