(system improvement) Sailfish update notification inconsistent on 3G

As I described in this TJC question on 3G I didn't get sailfish update notification. I opened the store to search for an app and immediately the update notification showed up and is still present even if I closed the jolla store app.
It makes sense to automatically check for update only on wifi, but then when I open the store using 3G i should not be notified either.
My suggestion is to add an option to check for updates also in 3G. The best would be to add two options as follows:
- Check for updates over 3G
- Allow to download update over 3G (or the opposite: download update only on wifi)
this way the check for updates may happen on 3G (low data usage) but avoids to accidentally download the update on 3G
My setup is that I have wifi off, never connected to a wifi network (waiting for more bugfixes on wifi/3G switch), 3G is always on.
It is possible to check system update over pulley menu in system info, or what do you mean?

There should be an option to check for updates also on 3G connection or, to be coherent with the current settings, to disable check for sailfish updates if I open the jolla store using 3G connection
