Has anyone got WLAN proxy settings work? The settings are bit confusing. First of all, are all the fields compulsory? I entered my information (hostname localhost, port XXXX), but I'm not sure that is the data saved. Seems like it is not. The port number field is red (in addition to other input fields I don't need), although it is not empty.

Any advice, please? Thank you.

You use localhost as proxy hostname? Did you install a proxy server on your phone? Just trying to make sure..

Actually, what I am trying to do is to test Adblock Plus for Android. To set it up, you need to configure proxy settings manually.

Jolla browser doesn't work yet with a real proxy (see question 22824) so i think there is no chance it does with a fake-proxy like android ABP. anyway you could try settings your proxy settings in about:config view, at your own risk. You can also try speedmeup adblock. It relies on PAC proxy configuration and works well on ipad and iphone. But you may encounter the same Jolla browser limitation.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I have to wait for the upcoming update. About:config page does not work since "Ohijärvi" update.
