When you have new updates waiting in jolla store it takes forever to update them. Even if you have good quality connection. It says "odottaa / waiting" and nothing happens until in few minutes. After that it finally tries to install updates and there's 50/50 changes are updates corrupted or not. Updates are really small, around couple of megabytes so that's not the reason.

Not sure am i the only one suffering this?

I am having trouble installing anything from the store. I can update from the terminal - it is working fast and reliable, but only for packages I have installed already.

I had kind of similar problems but everything was stuck. Then I found the issue is https://together.jolla.com/question/11289/bug-if-connection-is-disrupted-during-app-download-store-becomes-stuck/

Haven't seen complaints of the updating performance for a long time

Given that the update is a real update, and not one falsely advertised as update by the server, this should be fixed by Sailfish's "Christmas update" (too lazy to look up the version number right now :) ).

Sadly that doesn't appear to be the case. I'm running the Christmas OS update, and had two application updates pop up this morning from the Jolla store, and got the same issue: both of them sat 'waiting' for several minutes before actually doing anything (but both updates were successful)

It may be that PackageKit was still busy with other things. "Waiting" state either means waiting for PackageKit, or waiting while refreshing the repository cache.
